Day 1: The Frame

I started out by building a frame out of sticks, held together with that universal fastener: duct tape. then I wrapped it with wire fence. Everything I used in this stage I found out in the back yard. The sticks from the stick pile, and a big roll of old fence from behind the wood pile. The previous owners of our house used it to keep the rabbits out of their strawberry patch, and they left it here.

I brought everything down into the basement, because it was the coolest workspace that I could find. Even though it wasn't air conditoned, it was just as cold as it was in the rest of the house. Hooray for being underground.
