We had to work fast, b/c we knew that at any moment Janette could come walking out of the music
building. Every time the back door opened we held our breath. I think every professor who teaches there
came out of that door that afternoon. Their reactions ranged from the typical Houghton tradition of
pretending you don't see something that's out of the ordinary, to hearty approval.
It's a little hard to see in these pictures, due to the compression and them being pictures of pictures
that sat undeveloped for about a year, but we wrapped everything on the Jeep. Each windshield wiper is
done seperately, as is the antenna, the little hook on the front bumper, and the word 'Jeep' stamped on
the front.
The back left tire is the only one that we ran out of foil for. The piece that's stretched across it
is the last piece we had left, so we stuck it up and taped it on.
And I'm well aware that you can't see it in this picture, but I had to write something next to it.
We decided not to do the back bottom bumper and Janette's industrial strength backup lights. Partly
because we were running out of foil, but mostly because when you stand up against the back to tape
foil on, when you look straight down, you can't see them. We didn't realize they were there until we
stepped back to admire what we had done.
